Features:
The opening and closing part of the butterfly valve is a disc-shaped butterfly plate that rotates around its own connection inside the valve.
To achieve the purpose of opening and closing or adjustment. The angle from fully open to fully closed is usually less than 90°. The butterfly valve and valve stem themselves do not have self-locking capabilities. In order to position the butterfly plate, a worm gear terminator must be installed on the valve stem. The use of a worm gear lifter not only makes the butterfly plate self-locking, allowing the butterfly plate to stop at any position, but also improves the operating performance of the valve. The characteristics of the industrial butterfly valve are that it can withstand high temperatures, has a high operating pressure range, has a large nominal diameter, the valve body is made of carbon steel, and the sealing ring of the valve plate uses a metal ring instead of a rubber ring. Large high-temperature valves are made of steel plate welding and are mainly used in flue ducts and gas pipelines for high-temperature media. ;The valve has these advantages:
1. Opening and closing is convenient, fast, labor-saving, has small fluid resistance, and can be operated frequently
2. Simple structure, small dimensions, short structural length, small volume, light weight, suitable for large diameter valves;
3. Can transport mud with minimal liquid accumulation at the pipe mouth
4. Under low pressure, good sealing can be achieved
5. Good adjustment performance
6. When fully open, the effective flow area of the valve seat channel is larger and the fluid resistance is smaller.
7. The opening and closing torque is small. Since the butterfly plates on both sides of the rotating shaft are basically equally affected by the medium, and the torque is generated in opposite directions, opening and closing is labor-saving.
8. The sealing surface material is generally made of rubber or plastic, so it has good low-pressure sealing performance.
